The lightning
streaked through the clouds like a fiery bolt and illuminated her face. Her
very sight took my breath away; her skin so pale and delicate like the petals
of an innocent flower that had bloomed in a storm. But she was no innocent and
his arms wrapped around her beautiful body filled me with a rage so uncontrollable
and destructive that I plunged the knife into his heart.
Blood gushed through
the open wound and stained her pale body red. I smiled to myself knowing the
pages had finally turned and now she will be forever mine.
OMG! Scary.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I scared you!! :D

A deluded and deranged mind is hardly ever capable of rational thought right?? Thanks Anita... :)

DeleteHe killed him in front of her and expects her to love him back? If she was not innocent, he should have killed her instead.
ReplyDeleteA deranged mind is hardly capable of rational thought right? And love can be crooked at times! ;)
Deletean unusual kind of obsession and killing i must say !
ReplyDelete.. nicely expressed ! :)
Welcome to my blog Ankur!! And thanks for appreciating my work!! It feels so good to see people like my work!! Thanks!! :)
DeleteThat was a dark and chilling take on the prompt. It reeks of an irrational or a psycho mind of the killer right? Or is it something else?
ReplyDeleteGood and unique attempt.
Hey Anmol!! Yeah portraying a psycho killer obsessed with the love of his life was my intention! And thanks!! :)
DeleteAnusree, Good story. He's indeed deranged. He's likely to be put away in an instituion or prison until he's very old. He doesn't stand much of a chance with her or anyone else. That's if he doesn't get a death sentence. Terrible that this really happens. Well written. : ) ---Susan
ReplyDeleteHaha!! Thanks for completing my story!! Probably going to jail I guess. She definitely had a reason for leaving him. ;) Thanks!! And welcome to my blog!
DeleteAnusree, He killed the man right in front of her so I don't think she'll want anything to do with him now. If he doesn't get the death penalty, he's probably going to jail for a long, long time. Well written. : ) ---Susan
